Here's abit of information about me, Gaynor Paskin.
Approximately 14 years ago I went to South Africa with an English family to help look after their children. This was only for a few months while I decided what I wanted to do next. While i was out there I was very inspired by a craft fair that I had visited on a newly built complex called the Waterfront. Many craft peolple were displaying their hand made creations and I found myself staring at a huge selection of hats displayed in a coordinated way with a wonderul array of colours and fabrics. I was transfixed.I bought one of the hats, found a gorgeous fabric shop with hand printed South African fabric, bought a selection of that and planned in my head how I was going to study the hat and make my own selection. I've always loved being creative and sewing. I looked forward to getting back home so I could begin my next venture.
I made many mistakes but finally got the result that I wanted. I started selling them at markets to begin with, I then shared a craft unit, and then eventually had my own craft unit to make and sell from. I continued doing this for almost two years, then somehow other life issues changed my direction and I gave it up. Since then, I have taken many jobs, none of which I was ever as happy with. But all of which have helped in some way or other to give me more knowledge and skill to have another go at doing what I enjoy most, 'CREATING.'

I now sell to shops in and around the worcester area, at craft fairs and through the internet.
I am constantly learning something new, I just love having a new project to get my creative juices flowing.

Hope I can inspire you too!little ruby and me
